8th April Solar Eclipse starts in the Pacific Ocean and ends in the Atlantic

The total solar eclipse of April 8 will commence at 12:39 p.m. Eastern Time, beginning approximately 620 miles south of the Republic of Kiribati in the Pacific Ocean. Lasting for three hours and 16 minutes, the eclipse will remain visible until 3:55 p.m., when it concludes its path in the Atlantic Ocean, roughly 340 miles southwest of Ireland.
